About
Ali is a Bay Area native having spent most of his time between Richmond and Oakland. Both his parents are from the south and moved to the Bay Area when they were young. Ali is a proud father and has 3 other siblings. He went to North Carolina A&T State University which is a historically Black university and majored in Finance. He has worked on both the east and west coasts and is a co-founder of several DEI initiatives that focus on intersectionality and organizational accountability.
Samira is a Fresno native that lived in Texas for several when she later moved to the Bay Area with her two bi-racial sons . She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Technical Management. As a hyphenated American (Iranian-Muslim) woman, she is passionate about people and celebrating diversity. She is an award winning Program Manager and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) champion. She is also the co-founder of several DEI initiatives that focus on intersectionality
and organizational accountability.
